Jesus said in the Gospel of John: "Anyone who has faith in me WILL do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Son may bring glory to the Father." John 14:12-14

Jesus INTENDED that all of His believers in the ages to come to do just as He did when He was on earth. That includes preaching the gospel, healing the sick, casting out demons, raising the dead, cleansing the lepers and so on (Luke 9:1-6, Matt 10:7-8).

True disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ must not only be content with themselves being saved but they must go out and preach the gospel just as Jesus and the disciples did in their times. And to preach the gospel biblically, we must have supernatural power to back up what we say. That is, the God of our Lord Jesus Christ is the only true who can set people free from their sin and sicknesses onto the path of righteousness and physical healing by His atonement (Isaiah 53:4-5). Hallelujah, praise God!

So let's make our King proud and His name known by doing His work and giving Him all the glory!

  • Power in prayer. However, it is not christians who heal, it is the Lord. No matter how much you train christians to pray, it is ultimately God who heals, not based on anything we have done

  • That is a given my friend if we truly know who we are in Christ.

(e.g) Does a police officer need to repeatedly tell others that his authority and power came from the state? Or would he just do his job in protecting the innocent and save the theatrics?

A loyal and responsible police officer would save the talk and do the walk.

True Christians would likewise take up their authority and power in Christ and set the captives free for the glory of the kingdom of God.

  • This is health, wealth and prosperity preaching! This is not the gospel. I am sorry but if you are a Christian I have to reproof you publicly. Jesus did not heal everyone physically. Jesus offered a spiritual healing from the 2nd death. The word healed is being used out of context. Look in your concordance!! If Jesus came to heal then why did Paul, Peter, James all suffer and die?? Come on "Christians" Christ said deny your self, pickup your cross and follow me. Not a disease free promise.

  • Before you "publicly reproof" someone my friend, please at least get your statements correct or else you will lose your credibility.

There is a difference between getting healed and then ultimately dying. In fact, Jesus DID heal EVERYONE in the bible, He NEVER left one person not healed that came to Him, see (Matt 4:23-25; Matt 8:16-17; Mark 6:56; Luke 6:17-20; Luke 9:11).

Picking up our cross (Luke 9:23) IN CONTEXT is NOT to suffer in diseases.

  • The "true cross to bear" was one of self-burial (Gal 2:20), dying to the flesh (Rom 8:13), forsaking all we have (Matt 19:27); serving the fellow man as to the Lord (Eph 6:7); living in the Spirit (Gal 5:16), resurrection in Christ (Eph 2:5), walking in newness of life (Romans 6:4), counting all things but loss for the gospel (Phil 3:8); preaching and living in truth despite opposition (Matt 5:11) and even dying for His name's sake (Matt 16:25). But it is never to suffer in physical sickness.

  • Lastly, before you pass a judgement on someone saying that they are preaching a different gospel and you have to "publicly reproof" them, it would be wise to at least look at their other videos and see what they are preaching: one of repentance and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

As Jesus solemnly warned us by rebuking the Pharisees: "Stop judging by appearances, but judge with righteous judgment!" (John 7:24)

Hope you come to the knowledge of the truth my friend.

  • Laugh,

God is a healer and soon the world will see that. I am tired of the church limiting the Holy Spirit and not believing what the bible says we are to do...lay hands on the sick, raise the dead and cast out demons. Jesus said:

    John 14:12

Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.

  • @Laughtime, Jesus could not do many mighty miracles in His own Hometown. But Why?( Here, was the Son of Almighty GOD),why could He not heal them? BECAUSE OF THE PEOPLES UNBELIEF ,the people in his hometown ,said, this is the son of Joseph, the carpenters son. O, How this must of hurt Jesus,to see the people he knew and loved so much ,the people he grew up with, and yet they refused to believe,SO SAD.even today people are missing out on, blessing after blessing and HEALING AFTER HEALING.JUST BELIEVE

  • Praise God for healing! However, I have a question as a genuine Christian yearning for God's kingdom to be furthered. I believe ANY Christian can heal, and God heals people today! However, how can we say that it is NEVER God's will for people to be sick? Didn't Paul have a "thorn in the flesh"?

  • what part of mexico was this?
