Stars of Miracle at St. Anna

Spike Lee made this war film that I liked...Variety hated...I found it very shocking but a fascinating story.
The guys in this interview are Far Left Derek Luke.....Laz Alonso...Michael Ealy and Omar Benson Miller as the Chocolate Giant...Omar is a longshot for a supporting actor nomination.

Although he tried to play it off, I believe Omar Benson Miller was hurt by the interviewer's comments regarding his looks i.e. cartoon character. Derek Luke also seemed to pick up on the insensitivity of those comments.

OMG...... Laz and Michael cracked AL THE WAY up! They were like fuck it. This shit is hilarious dude... and they laughed with no mercy!! Even when Laz stopped and tried to be serious to answer the question, Michael was in turmoil. lmao

My respect and attraction for Derek Luke just sky rocketed. I know it's hard to not laugh at something that's funny, as we can see from Michael's reaction. However, Derek picked up on how messed up that comment was and kept glancing at Omar to make sure he was okay. So incredibly sweet. <3 him.

Laz and Michael are gorgeous but pretty immature.

Overall, it still bothers me that this movie got so many negative reviews. It's not a perfect movie (few movies are), but it's a good one. I sense that those negative reviews were directed toward Spike Lee himself, not the film.
