THE 'ABSOLUTE NO' LIST
(from the book, "The Art of Extreme Self-Care" by Cheryl Richardson)

The concept of creating a list of absolute noes is important. It serves as a potent reminder of what you no longer do so that you can enjoy your quality of life. As you practice Extreme Self-Care, you'll gradually raise your standards for what you will and will not tolerate in your life. As a result, you'll find that there are certain things you used to do that no longer honor the level of self-care you now need to be your best.
TAKE CARE OF YOU! LEARN TO SAY NO.

  • wonderful.

Sounds like what counselors call -setting healthy boundaries.

Peacemaking vs. Peacefaking (a concept where folks try to maintain a semblance of peace but really are being hurt/held back/bound).

God Bless. It will require God's constant presence to help us maintain healthy boundaries and not retreat when it comes time to trust others!

Is it OK if I post this video on my face book wall? I see myself while watching it. Keep up the good work that God has definitely count you worthy of

  • yes indeed pray for a sister.I carrying a bag full of mess right now dealing with family and others.

  • wow that was awesome wow is all i can say thank you Jesus

  • This message was meant for me. Today

is September 15th and I turned 30 today. It has been very sobering and made me rethink everything in my life. I agree with you Stacey and Msgoodbar's comment as well. Thankyou

  • This was so deep I had to play this twice.

Pray real hard when turning 30. Depression does creep up on us women when becomming that age. We tend to focus on what we did not accomplish. As you know the Devil is a liar. Remember Jesus will finish perfecting whatever will he has for you do don't give up.

  • I am right there with you! Yesterday I turned 35 and I realized for so long I was trying to please others. NOT anymore! There are somethings that I cannot tolerate in my life any longer. So, will say no! Thank you for the inspiration.
