A demonstration of Shredz64 and the PSX64 interface in action. After over a year of development, I've finally finished it up!

Part 1 features an explanation of the software and a demo of game play with the Zelda Overworld theme (tune remade by Sascha Zeidler).

  • 4:30 to actual get to it

  • love your shirt dude

  • That is awsome

  • I wonder if he missed those notes 'cause the game didn't pick it up or because he sucks at his own Guitar Hero game

  • awesome

  • Nice work, but damn you talk way too much...

  • @Skillernika no I think it´s from zelda

  • Oh, and mindlessprimitive's name suits him well, don't you guys agree?

  • How can anyone dislike this?

It isn't even about how this fanmade Guitar Hero compares to the original, it's about this guy doing what he loves to do and programming his own game and designing his own hardware interface to accommodate plugging in a GH controller. The game is a little rough around the edges, but he just did something awesome that most of us don't even have the know-how to do.

And that makes you a rockstar in my eyes.

  • the only difference between a ps3 or xbox and the c64 is the feeling, it is something special something you like because of the simplicity and endless things you can do with it ..

The c64 stands for freedom, for the beginning of the computer-age! And i want to stay a part of the beginning for ever!
