I find it interesting that many people are hating on Richard Gere, who is giving his opinion, from his own experiences.

1) That's called freedom of speech

2) Mr. Gere's opinion is no less important to him as our own opinions are to ourselves.

3) He is not preaching to others about converting to Buddhism
