In her one-woman show at the Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center at Maryland, Rha Goddess portrays Lowqueshia, a bright spirit whose life becomes a struggle with mental illness. With linguistic brilliance, hip-hop rhythms and unflinching honesty, Rha Goddess puts a sympathetic human face on the question, "What is insanity?"

  • Tonight I attended the Australian Premiere of this play "Low". Jasmine Tombs in the lead role blew us all away! Lots of tears, so many of us have someone with a mental illness in our family. It rang so true, it was adapted it into an Australian form/colloquial language. The ''floetry' hip hop elements were rhythmically amazing! Funny, TRAGIC, uplifting REAL! Still reeling!ng. Brilliant direction!
