The fact that her vocals sound bad to you are exactly the reason her fans love her, she does what she wants to do and sings how she wants to sing.
Her attitude is one of ''If you don't like me, fuck off!''
And obviously Zoe Keating heard her music before agreeing to play with her... The fact that she's playing with her proves there's a talent there that you don't understand.

she sings punk cabaret. sing in the right tone is not her first objective.. she cares much more to the feelings of it.. the clothes, the wrong notes and everything are part of her, and it make an fantastic expression in my opinion...

@jenn2604 sadly Amanda is not consistent, the first time I saw her I actually flew from Florida to LA to see what I thought was her last show for a while, FANTASTIC SHOW worth every penny. then 2 months later she came to town and was HORRIBLE. Her performance was flat and she lacked the energy I think this show was a week or two before .

I'm confused. Why are people slagging this off so much? What is honestly wrong with this? Amanda doesn't sound off-key, the microphone is just really bad.
It's a damn good cover of a damn good song.
