  • hey please anwer my question it would help alot! . uhm for the 16 hour one i just bought it to try and it seems to make me glow.. if you know whhat i mean it makes ur skin look shiny you know is that good or bad ? :P

  • well it really depends on the look you are going for. If you want a more dewy look then shiner is better...if you are going for a matte look then set it with some pressed or loose powder. I have to set mine because my skin is really oily. I hope that answered your question...if not let me know.

  • i never understand what setting a powder does after you apply a foundation, can someone tell me?

  • setting powder is just that...it sets your foundation and "holds" it in place better. For me, I use it because I have oily skin so using the setting powder reduces shine and controls oil. It is really to reduce shine. You can carry pressed powder in your purse or bag and apply it during the day if your face gets shiny or oily.

  • yea thanx !! im definately looking to buy the rimmel 16 hour foundation!! Great review!!

  • you are very welcome!!

  • your welcome:) I'm glad I could help. I apply it with a brush. I use the Eye Lips Face powder brush. Its a flat top brush, but I also like using the mac 187...another brush if you like stippling brushes is the sonia koshak stippling brush from target. I do set it with powder...I set it with the Rimmel Pressed powder in translucent.

  • im going to buy the 16 hr one btw

  • Thank u so much im going to buy this u have really helped me to u apply it with ur fingers or a brush ? and do u set it with a powder

  • Hey there:) You aren't bothering me at all...I love answering questions if I can hah. I have normal to oily skin. Its pretty normal but sometimes I get oily especially if its hot. This foundation is great on me so far...I do set it with powder. I use the Rimmel Pressed Powder in Translucent. It seems to work pretty good for now. I've been using it for about 4 years now and no complaints:)

I hope that helped. If you have any more questions feel free to ask..:)
