Would the elephant be able to escape if really wanted, just knocking down the tree with its bodyweight?
It looks so to me, but probably there is a catch: you can see its chained leg is quite worn down and weak from years of captivity and the chain would scratch it badly if the elephan tried to pull it or push the tree. It would need to be in its best form. So...
Poor animal I'd like to see it more free to roam...

Are you a vegan? Only vegans have the true right to complain about animal cruelty.

  • Are you some kind of fundamentalist of animal rights and judge of who can say what and who can't? I love meat. Humans, like other animals (such as...pigs ok?) are naturally eaters of vegetables AND some (lttle though) meat, it's in our history it's in our blood, sure in the cold areas of the world, you might not like it but that's sure. And anyway tell me: do you eat elephant meat? Is that why they are being cruel with the elephant? Your theory of the "all or nothing" helps nobody but your views

  • You love meat? So you are one of those stinking hypocrites. Dont worry about the elephant hypocrite. Go and see how the animals that end up on your plate. Go and see what kind of treatment livestock go through to supply the meat and dairy industry.

I am 110% sure you are not a tribal who kills his own food. Oh no, you need it to land on your damn plate so you can be detached from anything that happens prior

  • You are talking to billion of hypocrite people eating meat all over the world, though. True I don't kill my own food (well, did only twice...) and I am aware of mistreatement to livestock providing the meat landing on my plate, I'll take some time to find out more what they suffer though, because that's not very public (guess why) and I ignore too many details, to see what they could (and should) be relieved from suffering while still providing the beloved meat... .

  • You have your point but keep avoiding mine: what's this got to do with an elephant and complaining for unnecessary cruelty against it? I mean, for example war is unjust and cruel but the UN agreed on some rules in it and thus define war crimes when breaching them rules. They still kill and act cruel bue within rules out of which cruelty is unnecessary or anyway over the set limits.

  • Do you prefer having only the minority of vegans complaining about animal mistreatments or defending them and all the others not giving a damn and just slaughtering them all? Isn't it better there are those who at least see unnecessary cruelty? Besides, few people, if any, eat elephants, they use it for special purposes, mostly travelling, works, games or watching them in zoo. Why can't we care for their treatment? I do, no matter what you or others say, you certainly ain't going to stop me...

  • No I am not a vegan, I am just a...stinking hypocrite. But I know what you mean, we'd never end talking about. But tell me: do we eat that elephant or we need him to be in that condition for us to enjoy it in the zoo. This is not real respect for animals because they are still regarded as objects for our pleasure or advantage, fine, but there is still a line somewhere between cruelty and unnecessary cruelty. Then again id we get into that field it's a minefield...

Are you a vegan? If not then you are a stinking hypocrite. Full stop

  • I don't know why you see what, I am no racist, not to British not to Indians, have no demons in my mind either. You see demons everywhere. Maybe you have one! We could discuss forever about demons role in this world but the point is: in real life blaming demons ends up as a way not to blame humans responsible for those wrongdoings: you can't sentence demons, punish them, jail them, so talking demons is anyway a waste of time, we just want those animals treated better and the wrongdoings over...

  • As long as you are a human on earth realm, you can't run away from them. You may delete comments here, but what about your mind? It is always lurking around the corner to create havoc in human mind. I can very clearly see the contents of my mind and to some extent others also. And I see that you have a racist demon in your mind. Go to Australia in that case and beat the shit out of the slum dogs. By just having some pubic hairs no one grows up. No one is perfect on earth.
