BUILT FOR SPEED

Thank you to all of our supporters and customers! We had a great 2010 and we'll be releasing more products and videos in the coming year, stay tuned!!

The most innovative camera strap ever to hit the market, R-Strap is a patented piece of equipment offering unparalleled ease of access to your camera and peace of mind.

The R-Strap is worn diagonally across the torso from shoulder to hip and is adjustable to fit most photographers. The pad has a mesh underside for comfort and breathability.

Our locking FastenR connects the R-Strap to the tripod socket located on either the camera body or the lens.Once connected, the camera hangs upside down, resting securely at your side or in the small of your back, with the lens pointing behind you.

With the camera at your hip or behind your back, you can maneuver easily through a crowd, carry a tripod or other gear, or simply have both hands free. When you're ready to take the shot, the camera quickly glides up the strap into shooting position.

Grab. Glide. Click.

  • @rstrapvideos. I've notice that my connectR-2 might have an issue where the metal plating might be coming off? no sure how to word it, but the bottom inside part of the carabiner where all the weight of the camera goes feels a bit rough. is this a known issue? I see that you guys sell the connectR-2, does that mean I have to rip the seams, replace and resew it on?

  • @Mikenopolis Thank you for connecting with us here. We would be happy to help you with this issue you are having with the CR-2. Please send an email to customerservice(at)blackrapid(dot)com and I will personally alert them to keep a lookout for your information. We will get a solution for you asap.

  • just cant risk it with one screw .... why dont you make a thin steel cable attaching from the screw to camera's strap hook ? it could have a little fastener, and wouldnt have to weight anything really. then if the screw came undone ever, the camera still cant fall ....

and lol @ the way you use that giant OTT screw and carabina, is it just to make people think its safe ? it really doesnt need to be anywhere near that big

  • @mikesomething We appreciate your feedback and will share your issues with our product design team. Thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts.

  • Clean rip-off of Acronym.de (3A-1) /Stone Island's Shadow Project videos. Still cool, although a tad too close for my taste. Or maybe the same video dude did it - I hope ;)

  • @mikesomething I've used the RS4 with a 7lb setup, very comfortable and the "OTT screw" held on just fine. I don't think they made it "big" so people think it's safe. It's made so that you can comfortably screw it on and off with your thumb and index finger grip, the screw is a standard tripod mount thread and goes in quite deeply, if you trust your gear on a tripod, you can trust this ONE screw. I would worry about the STRAP tearing more than the connecter or fastener failing @rstraovideos

  • The Music fken sucks balls.

  • NIce Ad....

  • How's that built for speed? How fast will you go if you want to mount the cam on a tripod? and the price.. it's just ridiculous.
