Definitely helpful Lol and funny too!!

@skyline44512 the service manual suggests every year or every 12,000 km (7500 miles), whichever comes first. I suspect you don't ride your bike much - having to change the oil every 4 days or so on a tour would be a major pain in the ass. As it is, my 2008 er6f has about 33,000 miles.

@bagel03 People who don't want to strip out the threads in the crankcase do.

This video definitely helped me change my oil. Had to go get an oil wrench specifically for that type of oil filter, but other than that, easy peasy

Who is the other hilarious guy lol?!?!?
How often are you suppose to do the oil change? The first one is at 600 miles then what is the miles that you reach before you do the oil change again? Every 2,000 miles?

@TuanVu412 Depending on riding habits I'd change it everr 1500-3000 miles.

nice video it was very helpful but i have a question what type of oil does the 650r use and what type of filter does it use, reason why i ask is because i bought a 07 ninja 650r off a guy that has never took it for a spin and i am giving it its first oil change?

@SteroidChest1991 Go to a dealership or motorcycle store to get the filter and motorcycle oil. I use 10W-40 full synthetic.
