Yasmin Levi was born in Jerusalem,Israel.she sings in Ladino which is what the many Jews who lived in Spain used as their language.It has a bit of Hebrew,a little Arabic.Her family were expelled from Spain 1492 as most Jews who did not convert to Christianity had to.Many went to North Africa,Morocco,Tunis,Libya,Egy

this woman is a jewel!!! i cant believe i didnt know her up to now!!! she is one of the best singers i heard in my life!!!!! i wish one day to see her live!! god bless her, and her voice,and talent!!!
