Original notes from my old account:
Live footage of the DVD 'UROBOROS - with the proof in the name of living'. Thanks a billion times to kameikosui for making it possible for me to finally sub a live of this utterly beautiful song! I just got my hands on it today and I'm updating with this sub now only because my heart is bursting.
Do I even need to mention that I have fallen even more in love with this band just now? I didn't think that was even possible. But this... just... blows me away. The instruments sound overwhelming, Kyo's voice is too gorgeous that I could ever express with words how much I love it. And I'm so heartbroken that I don't have the money to actually buy this DVD with all it's specials...
Notes:
1) 'the voice of promise' - or 'the voice of someone who promised something', if that sounds easier to understand.
2) 'komiageru' means 'being close to tears'; with all its side effects - feeling nauseous and like you have a lump in your throat.
3) The last three sung words in The Pledge are 'inai' which is basically just a negation. But as it comes along with 'dare demo' which means 'anyone' and only turns into 'dare mo' → 'no one' when 'inai' is added to the sentence, I just put 'no one' as those said three words. Just in case anyone gets curious. (...does my explanation even make sense? haha;)
~This is my translation.
Thank you so much for the sub! This song is one of the most underrated songs off The Marrow of a Bone album! It somewhat feels like a love song cause of all the emotion Kyo puts in it.
