Ed and his castle got me so interested in magnetism..being a total layman on such fields...i´m just watching ppl like you so i can get a better grasp on this all..fascinating.

it great to see people work so hard on finding answers..
Thanks for your post..

I think is a FANTASTIC example of Leedskalnin's concept about energy flow. It is showing that the flow - from the collapse - is travelling out. This flow is "polarized" - it is ONLY going out. You could call it N/S as Ed did, but in essence the coils are being magnetized, and both sets of coils are collapsing - as opposed to just the power coil. The whole purpose is to show that the collapse releases the flow of magnets from the steel. Repeat test with the neo magnet keeper (continues...)

In Ed's original notes, he had both coils connected together. This would act the same as you putting your neo-magnet bar keeper back on the top. It is instant magnet flow through the system. In your modified example, since the coils are separte - the only time the pickup coil will energize is when the keeper is removed. Since it is the collapse that powers the coil - the "on" only magnetizes the steel - there won't be any "powering " of the pickup coil until field collapse.

It is the same reason you can't get the green light to light twice once the "magnets" are already flowing in the steel. In this case, you are creating the simplest path of flow through the steel - not through the coil.
Its the same reason you get the mini-red spark when the battery field collapses. You get multiple reds, but only green. The battery field repeatedly collapses - therefore multiple sparks.

My explanation anyway - I could be wrong...

Cody if you send me a camera I will show you my working replication , also I would be willing to tell you who originally designed the motor and how it works from micro/macro.. You just need to understand electricity and magnetism...its not flowing through the wire nor over the wire, but is drawn into the wire and forms eddies according to freq waveform etc

check out tesla's DTOG for more information or check out some of the videos on my channel. Msg me for more info

well..... sure..... There is all kinds of information on the net. I guess i would start by looking up an electromagnet and understanding how they work, then come back and compare that to this. Electricity and magnetism are awesome and fascinating.

Basically this is just a normal kind of weird electric gen. The colapsing (fluxing)field causes the energy in the coil. What is interesting about ED's version is that the short time it is charged shouldnt be enough to keep it magnetically charged. So the question is how does it works. Still trying to figure out that second one though.....thats weird!! Have you tried taking the battery off and flipping the switch?prob nothing if that but it would be cool if so.
