All Michael Lovett wanted from his first job was to earn money to buy his own vehicle. But instead, a serious workplace accident cost him a leg.

  • @sledz4life IAnything can happen man.

  • almost lost my finger in workplace accident. cost me 6k to keep it, albeit with no feeling or movement in the last section.

Watch what you are doing folks

  • "he get sucked in this maschine"...so a big man and no power to tear his jeans?

  • I have to declare bullshit, if the machine is 6 feet off the ground, there Is a safe way to get in and out of it. They don't just drop a cockpit for a piece of machinery 6 feet in the air with no ladder or stair case that leads up to it, you should have looked a little better. I hope that workman's comp didn't give you a red cent, doing something this stupid is the same as committing workman's comp fraud.

  • my friend got his hand slowly crushed by the machine you use to shape metal plates with (no idea what it's called.i'm norwegian) while we were doing some tasks at school. he had to amputate. later he almost killed himself when he stuck some clothing in the metal lathe, and there have been many times where i'd just have to stop him (or watch him hurt himself)

his accidents were caused by stupidity and not watching what he was doing. you can't expect deadly machinery to accept your negligence

  • @sledz4life ever ridden a bike?

  • one big thing on construction jobs and other dangerous places, the older people do not train the younger people enough. you have to keep an eye on them all of the time and really train and train.

  • wait was his leg caught round the chain or did lt clip onto his pants? coz l would try to take my pants of.

    poor guy anyway

  • if it was a famliy member i would of made sure that company would suffer, i would of sued them of everything they got. and they say that wont help. well its not about helping cause u can do anything about that, but u can get justice.

  • So sorry that happened. Glad and thankful you survived. God Bless ya!
