Why compare those versions? This american costume of give award to everything that moves or release sound is disgusting.
Elmore James, Buddy Holly, Eric Clapton, Keb'Mo, Chuck Berry... they all did great versions of It Hurts me Too and even if you don't like one, there's no reason to comment since it's a great song.
Let comparisons and awards to Jonas Brothers and Lady Gaga fans. Good music deserves respect.

I had forgotten about this tune, but pulled out a version by The Barefoot Servants, that kicks it real good. I would love to hear Dave Hole play this electric slide showpiece. Or how about Duane ? Or Derek ?

it hurts me too is ok but elmore did the best version,still though tampa red did write it so you gotta give him some credit. john lee hooker ripped it off with it hurts me so but still decent
