Old guy playing "Strangers in the Night" by Frank Sinatra - VMworld 2009

Was walking through the Mariott conference halls on my way to the restroom and saw this cool old guy rippin it up on the piano for some equally old lady (off-screen sitting to my left on a chair) who was absolutely smitten by this guys skills. He was playing Strangers in the Night by Frank Sinatra

Recorded with the Kodak Zi8 in 1080p@30fps. Edited with Adobe Premiere Elements 7, and transcoded to WMV 720p@30fps.

Nope, this is the internal mic! The audio track is untouched in the post-editing process as well. I was always pleased with the internal mic performance. It won't perform well in incredibly windy situations, but else it does well. See my other videos I recorded with the Zi8. The 720p@60fps test with the Indy cars is also internal mic.

I think you guys are missing the meaning and beauty of the clip. The video quality or lack thereof is not important in this clip, the beauty and musicianship of this older gentleman is the clarity in this clip.

Yeah, it came out a bit grainy. I think that was due to the lower light and the fact it was in 1080p. I noticed that the Zi8 does better in low-light situations in 720p/60fps than any of its other modes.

are you useing an external mic... im wondering because everywhere else the sound from the kodak zi8 is horrible but the sound here is great
