I just used this exact brand on my kitchen and bathroom formica countertops. All i can say is, what a disaster! The paint trapped lots of air bubbles in it when applied with the foam roller (same white roller type as used in the video) so I tried brushing the bubbles out with a foam brush. I guess it got too thick in some places; some parts of the counter haven't fully dried, and it's been over a week. I am so very frustrated with this product.

Hey Don i wanna ask, how has the counter top paint lasted so far? Is it durable enough for kitchen use as it says on the can or is that just an advertisement ploy? Im going to remodel my kitchen in a few weeks, and i was considering using this product. When you get a minute, let me know how your counter stood up months later. Thanks again for the video.

Thank you, very useful video. Can I use this product for kitchen cabinets too that are made from the same material of the counter top? Or would you recommend some other product for the cabinets?

I just used this on my kitchen counter top. To answer your question, kinfolks2u, it's an oil based paint with the primer built in, and you do not sea it. I haven't used the counter top enough to tell you how well this will last, though.

I have a counter top that's too much trouble to change but is the wrong color. I'm going to paint it and found this video but had the same question as you.

Do you use a protector over the paint? Oil based paint? Primer?
