Step into The NHS

http://www.workshop-productions.co.uk Workshop Production was commissioned to develop and produce Step into The NHS for the North Lancashire NHS Trust. Its purpose it to educate young people on the many different career paths open to them in the NHS.

The short film starts as a tense drama in which we see a young man get mugged and stabbed. Following this we follow him along his road to recovery through the NHS, meeting many different NHS workers. During his recovery he is inspired to look for a job in the NHS using the Step into The NHS website.

We then see him progress through the interview process, seeing the many non-medical staff who administrate the NHS and eventually finding a position.

Step into The NHS was shot on location in Lancashire in and around many NHS facilities. As well as actors it also features many NHS workers representing their fields.
