  • Hi, carrying a baby in a front carrier facing away from you can be highly distressing for the little one, as they don't have a chance to protect themselves from visual and other input overload by pushing their face against your chest. Never carry them that way, always carry them facing towards you. Cheers, Matt

  • Ergo works better and it NEVER hurts your back at all. Plus you can wear it up to 40 pounds and wear in front, back and a sling. I hike for hours with it and it's light easy to use and you can nurse while wearing it. I have a bad back and the ergo carrier never hurts. It's worth the 100 bucks. =)
