All Aboard Amtrak

This is actually a clip I made from a video that YouTube user GrizzyFlats uploaded, showing vintage Amtrak commercials from the 1970's - 1990's. This one is from the 1980's, showing a commercial for the California Zephyr. Here's a link to his original video:

I've always loved taking trips by train, especially on Amtrak. When I was a little kid, I can faintly remember seeing some of the old Amtrak commercials on tv in the 1980's. One thing that really stuck with me for years was at the end, when you would see a train speeding through the countryside and the slogan being sung..."All Aboard America...All Aboard Amtrak." There was just something so special and memorable about the old Amtrak commericals. They were awesome.

Tell me that after watching this, you won't have that theme song stuck in your head :)

This commercial was so special to me when I was younger. When I saw it I so wanted to take the CA Zephyr. Well, many years later I am going to ride the Zephyr. Looking forward to boarding tomorrow. All aboard!
