World War Z is one of the most comprehensive novels on the situation of a zombie apocalypse. A followup to Brook's other book The Zombie Survival Guide, the story is a comprehensive alternate history of how mankind came to the brink of extinction in the face of the walking dead. Analyzed are the evolving tools of the military (chief among them to Lobotomizer or Lobo pick/hammer/shovel weapon) the international scene and recounts of survivors.
