Adaptación de la novela clásica y dramática de E.M. Forster, Una Habitación Con Vistas, desarrollándose en Italia e Inglaterra rural a comienzos del siglo XX, cuenta la historia de una mujer inglesa joven y fácil de impresionar, Lucy Honeychurch, y de sus intentos al querer encontrar el amor y la felicidad.
En 1912, junto con su prima Charlotte que le sirve de chaperón, Lucy llega a una casa de huéspedes de Italia en busca de aventuras. Allá conoce al Señor Emerson y a su inusual hijo George, quienes ofrecen su habitación con vistas para los recien llegados.
Lucy empieza a sentirse atraída hacia George, pero las vacaciones terminan demasiado pronto y ella tiene que regresar a su vida normal en Inglaterra. El tiempo pasa y ella acepta el compromiso con un nuevo hombre, Cecil Vyse. Pero ¿será ella capaz de continuar con sus planes de matrimonio cuando George de repente aparece de nuevo en su vida?

In 1912, chaperoned by her cousin Charlotte, Lucy arrives at an Italian guesthouse looking for adventure. There she meets Mr Emerson and his unusual son George, who offer their room with a view to the newcomers.
Lucy soon finds herself drawn to George, but all too quickly the holiday ends and she returns to her normal life in England. Time passes and she gets engaged to a new man, Cecil Vyse. But will she be able to go through with the marriage when George suddenly reappears in her life?
