On March 2, 2011, the U.S. Senate Foreign Relations Committee held a hearing with Secretary of State Hillary Clinton regarding the State Department budget. Senator Lugar cautioned Secretary Clinton on a number of issues included the Obama Administration request for a budget increase of more than 8%.

  • About the information war: How about restoring credibility not only to the people abroad but also to U.S. Americans? How would that go, you ask? Immediately disclose ALL evidence regarding 9/11. Rephrase the reasons for your involvement in Iraq and stand for it. Rephrase what's keeping you in Afghanistan? Revise the Patriot Act, NSPD51, DoD 1404,10. I think that shall do for the moment. You would regain a lot of respect, I am sure.
