when was the last time you saw an average joe in the government? When was the last time you saw someone that wasn't a part of the wealthy neo-american aristocracy in a position of power. They aren't our friends and neighbors, they are the friends and neighbors of their financial backers, forcus groups, and special interests. I agree with the majority of the statement.I am not for gun control guns are everywhere any way and the gun allows old women to deal with young ignorant punks who choose the easy violent route of getting whatever they wish.

Hey Man,

Just started checking out my first video of yours and enjoy the honesty. From what I have have heard, please allow me to explain why I own guns. I also am very opposed to violence and believe that gun ownership in general acts as a detererant to those who want to commit it. Sorry if this is an old arguement, but it is widely held. If you care, I loved Thomas Jefferson's fiscal policy (pay the debt). What he did to Native Americans and African slaves was reprehensible. Thanks

Since the beginning of recorded history and since the beginning of unrecorded human history, violence has always existed , way before the advent of the first firearm. You can make a strong argument that people during ancient and medieval time were a lot more violent than we our now. Most nations didn't start condemning torture and making it an unacceptable act until the mid 20th century. Humans were programmed to be a violent species, with or without the usage of guns.

We may elect politicians that supposedly are there to represent us, they've often don't represent us. If they truly did represent the majority of americans and took our approval rating of congress seriously(which is at 9 percent btw), we would see taxes be lowered, which most americans want, we would see a universal healthcare system being set up, which unfortunately most americans want and the big banks would not be bailed out(which most americans want)

It is important to know what our founding fathers had invisioned for our country because they freedom is something they did not take for granted. It is something most Americans take for granted to this day. I didn't say dictatorships can't be stopped through violence, I asked how you would go about organising your revolution against the US 'dictatorship', blogs didn't exist, neither did Carnivore, Altivore and Echelon, that's the point. Your government know war, they've been at it non-stop since 1775, they outgun you on every level.

The Weathermen had their support from individuals who themselves where marginalized. Secondly people are a lot more distrusting of our government these days. Blogs didn't exist during the Vietnam war.

That's not true, the Weatherman organisation were not religious zealots and had huge public support for their anti-war agenda, yet were still seen as 'domestic terrorists' not freedom fighters. The US government has offices dedicated to 'spin', that's how they can tell you they're invading Iraq because of WMDs, you think they'd have a problem lying about you? How would you go about organising your revolution with FBI surveillance operations like 'Carnivore' and 'Echelon'?
