Texas - Jacinto City Councilman Christopher Ochoa was pulled over for speeding, 68 mph in a 40 mph, and suspected of drunk driving. The officers were trying to protect Councilman Ochoa by not giving him a breathalyzer. We can only assume that, from the Officers' experience, they knew he would surely fail the breathalyzer.
It is even more infuriating to watch this video of the unacceptable behavior from ALL involved parties when you know that Councilman Christopher Ochoa has pressed charges, on numerous city employees for petty things. Isn't this - Abuse of Power ??

  • Councilman Ochoa is trying to pass a city Ordinance that will shorten the amount of time Jacinto City citizens are allowed to speak at town meetings. They are currently only allowed 3 minutes to discuss problems addressing the city. The Ordinance also tries to enforce what Jacinto City citizens, can and cannot say at these meetings. I wonder if they will be allowed to speak about his subordinate behavior?

  • he's a fuck up, his brother is a fuck up, his dad is a fuck up, fuck him eventually all the shit they do will catch up to him.

  • right is right ,wrong is wrong. why do these officers give him a chance to even talk his way out.

  • Fuck that shit!!! they should have taken his ass t jail, the only reason he was asking for sobriety tests was because he was just that fucked up, lets not bull shit around people, that motherfucker was wasted, just cause he's a fucking councilman he gets special treatment? fuck that!!, i served in the united states army as an infantryman 240 gunner and i got a DWI, im a fucking veteran, did i get special treatment? no, should he? fuck no! i went to school with this cat, my name is sergio.

  • No, Ochoa was not abusing his power. The video shows him repeatedly asking for a sobriety test and requesting that the policemen just do their jobs.

And enforcing procedures (Robert's rules of order) is actually a very effective way of running meetings, which is why that format is used everywhere.
