Jaime explains the "Eee" scream exercise (as taught to him by Jim Gillette). This is the one voice strengthening exercise that Jaime uses when preparing for glass breaking television shows and is useful to develop those high metal screams. The full explanation (and video) is available in his book "Raise Your Voice" at thevoiceconnection.com

  • I like all of your concepts. As an opera singer, I notice your style stays on the fringes of what is taught to sing fully. Great for pop/rock though.

  • @rovingdesertfox I was actually taught classically and just transferred what I learned to rock.

  • Its not "Rocket Surgery"?????

  • Rocket Science + Surgery = Rocket Surgery...It's a joke;)

  • I did that on purpose;) I use that saying all the time;)

  • that's awesome I'm going to start learning singing like this. Just wanna to give my voice little more power. I really like Tim Ripper Owens vocals :)

  • What happens if u get a lil dizzy?

  • @MrChubbleyWarner Any tips on how to avoid messing your voice up?

  • Wow, this is awesome! Me and my brother just tried this, and have never been good singers, but based on this vid and 5 minutes of Gillette-inspired screaming, we're hitting notes we've never hit before!

  • im pretty sure that guy is not a newbie, he must have been practicing long time ago

  • Yep. It's not brain science!

  • How do you work on getting that real tone in your falsetto though, like Adam Lambert and Robert Plant?

  • get a haircut hippie!
