Well the when it says "A _______ film" or "A film by __________ ", it's basically refferring to he director

I don't know.. From a filmmakers point of view the cinematography was great. I really liked the crooked shot in the creepy basement.
However, I felt the ending was rushed and didn't connect to the beginning at all... I think if we saw what he was writing and then saw the MY OWN WORST ENEMY, it would have flowed much better.
I liked it.
