What the 9-hour plane ride from Christchurch NZ to McMurdo station Antartica looks like, from the inside of a C-130 cargo (us) transport plane.

  • Looks like fun

  • Back when I was in Iraq in 2005 on our way back to the states, we sat in that thing with no room to move. All us Marines had our packs on, bullet proof vests on and M16's between our knees. We sat on the ground at TQ for a while before we took off for Kuwait. There was no ac, and it was in late August when it is hot in Iraq. I was soaked in sweat after that flight.

  • I sure remember that. Noisy dam things aren't they?

  • the look on their faces: "BORING!"
