I heard Miley giggle quietly when my lips parted from him and I diverted my eyes over to her to find a picture on the screen of her sticking her tongue out and pointing towards Nick and I. She had managed to capture that brief moment when our lips were touching and I couldn't help but laugh at it.
"Damn, I wish I could put that on twitter," she complained through her giggles.
"You can! Or at least, I don't mind..." I laughed while my eyes flickered back and forth between the two of them.
"It's not that, babe. It's supposed to be top secret that we're working together," Nick explained and I nodded, rolling my eyes. Why didn't I think of that?
"Oh well. We'll just keep our sexiness to ourselves then," I said, letting out a laugh as Miley took another picture which caught me mid-laugh. Miley was smirking at the camera and Nick was smiling at me.
"Aw thats so cute," I cooed, moving closer to the laptop to get a closer look. She pulled me next to her and took another picture where I looked totally ridiculous because I was laughing again. I smiled for the next one and it was such a sweet picture.
"Miley, stop stealing my girl," Nick complained as we giggled at the first picture of Miley and I all over again. I reached my hand back and he started to play with my fingers with his while Miley hovered the cursor over 'send to twitter'. I laughed again as she pressed it without further hesitation. I watched her type 'Hanging with the sweetest girl ever @selenagomez'
"Selena Jonas," I corrected her with a laugh. "I changed my username."
"Oh well excuse me, Mrs Jonas," she joked, adjusting her tweet.
I looked back at Nick who was smiling contentedly to himself. Once he caught me gazing at him, he sent a wink in my direction and I smiled at him moving my lips in a way I hoped he could read 'I love you'.
"It's killing me that we can't tell them, Nick. What if we made a video and upload it in a few months or whatever?" she suggested oblivious to our actions.
"Yeah, that sounds pretty cool," Nick agreed, grabbing my waist and gently pulling me onto his lap again.
"Okay, ready?"
"No!" Nick squeaked in his best attempt at a girls voice. "I need to go fix my make up! I need to make sure every rib of hair on my head is perfectly in place!"
Miley and I were in stitches laughing at his failed impression of a girl and it was a few minutes before we got back to starting to record the video.
"Hey guys!" Miley smiled, glancing over at us and bursting into another fit of laughter. None of us could even keep a straight face.
"Okay, I'll edit that out later," she sighed happily once she calmed down again. "Hey whats up, I'm here in the studio with the amazingly talented Nick Jonas and his girlfriend-"
"Wife," I corrected, letting out another laugh as she rolled her eyes. "Just edit that part out," I teased, brushing my bangs out of my face and licking my lips which were still holding a bright smile.
"Shit, I'll never get this down," she mumbled through her laughter before looking up at the camera and starting again. "Nick Jonas and his beautiful wife Selena. Anyways, we're here in the recording studio just making some music and um...yeah, just wanted to say hi."
"Hey to you people in the future," Nick smirked, removing one of his hands from my hip to wave at the camera.
"Oh yeah! It's going to be much later whenever you guys are watching this. It's November now and you're going to see it...next year, I guess. Wow, thats really weird."
"It's like a time capsule," I said, raising my eyebrows for a brief second.
"It is! So anyways, just wanted to make a video to say...hi."
"Didn't you already say that?"
"Oh, I did....awkward!"
We all looked at each other, blinking for a few seconds and wondering who was going to crack first.
"Let's....dance!" I suggested, jumping up and dancing around stupidly with Miley who was happy to oblige.
"Note to future Miley: Insert song here," Nick said to the camera as we continued to dance.
