Enjoy the show! Pick your favorite!
Once again, it's time to go over all the pics I submitted during the year, and pick out one per month to present here. Some you've seen before, others not, but you can also check out my Gallery at http://angusmctavish.deviantart.com for more!
The list of choices and the stories behind them:
Jan: KTE Productions. After the PTP logo (which in turn was a take on the MTM logo with Mimsy the cat), I had the idea of putting Knuckles in the same spot. If his "SHUT UP!!" could be heard, it would be from the Sonic X episode, "Cracking Knuckles," from the first season.
Feb: Doctor Who, Fourth Doctor, Canadianated. If you've seen Canadianator II, you'll note that I did a Terrance & Phillip rendition of every TV Doctor so far, and #4 is a popular one from the classic series.
Mar: Powdered Toast MahBoi! PTM was a great character from Ren & Stimpy, and I could really see him doing this kind of pose before going into action. "MAH BOI, leave everything to me!"
Apr: DEUUEAUGH Zim. Normally, I used a self-made template for any characters I want referring to that SpongeBob episode, "Something Smells." This is one time where I went without it.
May: The 2010 Seattle Mariners. The worst offense all year long, an all-too-error-prone infield, and their second 100-loss season in three years. All this leads one to wonder: Who's the REAL mascot here, 'cause all we see is one Moose and WAY too many chickens!
June: Dethklok CDN. Another T&P-style pic, this time with the band from Metalocalypse. Had to be done. And couldn't resist a more squared shape for Nathan Explosion's head! LOL
July: Manga ID. Hadn't done a whole lot in any kind of manga/anime style, and thought I'd give it a try with a self-portrait. Thought of adding Likes/Dislikes to the field on the left, but later decided against it.
August: Sesame Street 1929. It was my 300th Deviation, and to celebrate it, I added a version of what the Count would have looked like, along with other Muppets, had the show existed 40 years before it actually aired. Elmo not included, keeping it old school.
September: Double Figgins. One of the problems with the Mariners' defense was Chone Figgins, who signed a four-year, $36 million contract, and in his first year with the M's, he just wasn't worth the money he got. In one July game vs. the Red Sox, he let the ball roll past him lazily, where he could have easily been the cut-off man for the runner approaching second base. That batter went to third, and there was a scuffle in the dugout afterward. I consider Figgins to be an insult to the team, and therefore should be an insult to replace a more offensive one that's often used with this comic, which I totally redid by hand/mouse/Paint. And this was originally four pics in one, broken down frame by frame for YouTube viewing convenience!
October: Halloween Pikachu. It started as a "greeting card," and turned into a chance to work with shading, as well as to make the little Pokemon into something a little more bloodthirsty! XDD
November: Tails' Ugly Surprise. If you ever played Sonic Unleashed, you know about Chip, the little creature with amnesia and a sweet tooth, hence the name given by the Hedgehog/Werehog. But, where exactly DOES he get his chocolate??
December: A Canadianator Christmas. Greeting card to some friends in more than just one site. I have accounts in four different sites, with some good people with whom I like posting back and forth. My gf is also in this pic, for a more personal touch.
All pics created using MS Paint. No clip art used.

@Tortchclaw Thanks! It's not often that I experiment with shading and such, but this was a great opportunity to do so, with the moon effect and all.

@IJustWatchEm71 the eyes had a nice effect to them, yet some of the outlines looked a little scribbly, as if your hand shook while you drew it .I like the gravestones though and the shadows, and the overall cartoonish look x3

@Tortchclaw Yeah, I'll admit that I don't have the steadiest of hands, especially when trying to use a mouse to get the outlines "just right," but in the case of the bumpy ground and maybe even the mountains behind him, I'd say they didn't turn out that badly.
That gravestone pissed me off, though...(Okay, not really. LOL)
