Since these songs were featured in the feature film "Waikiki Wedding", this short subject must also have been made by Paramount Studios.
That finale - with Eddie playing frantically against the orchestration of "Aloha Oe", followed by him stealing the hula skirt (!?), etc. is so darn weird I'm not sure what to think.

Does anyone recognize that instrument he plays at 6:50? It looks like a 6 string octave mandola.
Is it possibly some make of guitar I'm not familiar with?

He was a wonderful man and banjo player.. I had the honor of singing with the banjo band and go a picture with Mr Peabody when i about 8 years old..
