You know a country is doing poorly when people want a dictator back, but really people the Shah back? i was thinking maybe a Parliament with a prime minister or Congress with a president but a king? Now i don't see how a peaceful resolution can be accomplish if people are yelling death to Islam, i mean i don't think all Islam is supposed to be violent and repressive.

lets hope that Islamic extremists dont take the power in Syria, remember the Iranian revolution 1979 there was great excitement about a change sweeping the Mideast. but democracy left Iran, try not to end up like them, being murdered and tortured and imprisoned even more than under the previous regime, they trusted extreme Islamists who pretended to be their allies while it was convenient, and didn't see the turnaround coming until it was far too late.
