  • @TheSenseofTouch i think he was referring to the fact that simply practising a movement many times will not "save you" in a self defense situation. u need to de-code the movement to pick apart the application/meaning to really understand it, with all of its intention/understanding to take away any self-defence skill from it. u can't simply practice the movement for health then say "der, i could use this if i have to" u need to really understand it. thats what he is talking about. make sense?
