Diamond Dust, composed by Bernie Holland.
Dedicated to the memory of Gary Moore, who also didn't play it quite as well as Jeff Beck.
I played the backing on my PRS. I actually stopped and restarted while recording, because I'd made a mess of a chord change. I exported the track to my PC and edited out the first attempt at the chord that I'd messed up using Audacity, and I don't think you can see the join :)
I also added the stereo flanger effect on my PC, to fill out the soundstage a bit (there are only two instruments in the mix, after all).
Then I exported the result back to my Fostex 8-track, and added the lead guitar (on a Les Paul).
The video is composed of images of London, photographed in the early noughties.
