  • Damn it to hell, yet another SRW that will miss English release. This is exactly why people around the net think that SRW OG The inspectors anime are based on SRW Endless Frontier. The REAL SRW games are not translated.

First OGs for ps2 and now this. Guess I better start learning Japanese.

  • @TomPhoenixSC

Sad but true. Why they didn't do OGS (Despite already haven translated OG1/OG2 on the GBA!!!) or OGG is beyond me. Still, the DS is a big enough market to make porting this an attractive option...

  • MAZAKI-KUN!!!!

  • OH.....yes.

i know im going to love this game

  • @ShuHibiki Still, one has to wonder why they never translated OGS. They faced no copyright issues, they could have used a lot of the scripts they made for the GBA games and the game would have been released in a market that was significantly larger then the handheld one. The game had everything going for it for an outside release...and yet, they still refuse to do it.

As such, I can be forgiven for remaining skeptical. They did release every OG handheld title so far outside of Japan, though...

  • @TomPhoenixSC But they translated Unlimited Frontier, and it was possibly more vaguely known than this.

  • Atlus will release this, I'm sure. We've gotten three Original Generation games so far. It's not far-fetched to think this wont come out long before AGTP releases their SRW: Gaiden patch.

  • If Namco Bandai does not hire Atlus to translate this, they deserve to die in a ditch somewhere.....well ok, perhaps not that. But seriously, they have no reason not to translate this into English. There is a large DS market outside of Japan and this game contains nothing but Banpresto Originals.

After they stated they have no plans to translate OGS (which too only contained Banpresto Originals), I am kind of skeptical if they will actually translate this one. =(

  • @LanceVulcano well I can't say it isn't a surprise, I am looking forward to seeing how this turns out.

  • Not exactly rushed... I think they were working on it long before they announced it, and actually wanted to give us a "little surprise"
