Re-upload, because I had to remake the instrumental part because of copyright issues with the movie company. I also changed the ending a bit.

In the novel, Wendy stayed with him for years, until noticed they'd begun to forget their parents - yet she also said this: "See, dear brothers, there is the window still standing open. Ah, now we are rewarded for our sublime faith in a mother's love." - that is when Peter tells her his story and how she is wrong about mothers, he also said that he too, had stayed away for years. It must have killed him to learn that Wendy's mother still sat by the window after all that time, the window open, calling out for her children. While he also was losing Wendy to her - Wendy, who was like a mother to him, which was all he wanted. She was motherly towards him, but she was wishing for romantic love from him.

She did want him to come back with her, but he was way beyond any hope, with his trauna, mistrust and hatred towards adults. Not to mention that he'd lost the line between reality and make-believe. But he let her go, he let them all go, because he loved her, and didn't want her (or anyone else) to suffer the same pain that he was in.

This video was inspired by all that.
