  • I think the building moved an inch or two.

  • Given the sheer size of the building, it's several feet on impact.

I don't have the studies to hand, but imagine accurate measurements of the post impact sway are quite easy to locate.

  • femr2: could you make a video where are many zooms and slow motions about the explosion of the wtc 2 as flight crashes?

    example of raw material:

    Tower one hit, fireball

  • I have plenty of other impact videos:

    view_play_list?p=DC1AE6E3F5C7FF8D

Do any of these include what you are after ?

  • It seems like their is a primary detonation, the jet fuel, and then explosives, or vice versa.

  • Am just sorting out a slow-mo interpolated version.

May help interpretation (though it will have no audio I'm afraid)

  • How did ron not know it was a plane when he was the one filming this?

  • wait a minute, isnt the bottom of a united airlines plane blue???

  • @femr2 Based on the outline of the building infront and the windows on the WTC it seems it only moved a few inches, the fact that the windows were only 18 inches wide on the WTC.

  • @newsfan139

Which direction do you believe the movement to be? In appears to me the first reaction of the face is West or normal to the picture? This seems opposite to what I might expect considering a large amount of gas and debris so supposedly disbursing inside the building. However, if explosives are detonated at the outside edge, a reaction in the opposite direction will push the side in? Seems a very large. NIST et al do not show this effect as far as I know. Great work femr2!

  • ok.

    no problem.
