i would also say buy an archos....
More GB, supports more formats, higher res (800x480 pixel so like a PC)
and like w00dw00d1 said a lot of more and better features...

i have a dead pixel in the middle of my screen so bad will try to massage that pixel hoping that it won't lead to others defective pixels!

For anyone wondering, I just recieved my Archos 605 Wifi, and it DOES play xvid and divx videos (Video formats ripped off a DVD)

605 has larger storage and a lot better features. Thats my recommendation. Enjoy

i've got a 40gig 504. great battery life. screen doesn't scratch and has god colors and resolution. it plays and records filmic media and sound, can display pictures and pdfs, and acts as a hard drive.
it connects to computers, tv's (both in and out), pen drives, other mp3/media players, cameras..
only prob is that archos makes you buy certain codecs. but i think you can download freeware versions of most of em.
