The Aver is 4 channels at 30fps CIF, and cost about $400. The mini-DVR is one channel and runs about $160. The mini is better for a temporary install, when one one channel is needed, or on a motorbike where space is paramount. The Aver is better for a full installation that requires multiple cameras.
