Carquinez Staits Benicia Yacht Club Beer Can Racing with Corsair Trimarans. All sailboats and multihulls are Welcome! The Carquinez Straits of San Francisco Bay produce some of the most challenging wind and current conditions in the world for competitive sailing. The club is over 100 years old and has a down home friendly feel. The Americas Cup Mutihull Yachts are rumored to be coming to Benicia and San Pablo Bay, because Larry Elison always liked Jack London. Benicia was one of Jacks favorite places back in the early 1900s. It still is.
