@ZachTommyGunThompson In some states including Florida, you cannot claim anonymously. Although, I am not sure if you HAVE to do a press conference...but, I totally agree. I would claim anonymous if I could. If I couldn't, I'm still claiming that ticket!!!

Big mistake going public; Anonymity is paramount; fuck fame; idiots.

@TheGSB2011 yeah, "they will come out of the wood work". even some of your family will "stab you in the back".

E&M"s_10"....people H E L P I N G" people, weather "BIG" or small..."Anonymously"

Stipulation of claiming the prize is that you have to show up , get your picture taken with the check. Anything else, like talking about your feelings is optional.

If I ever win over $25 million, I will give the remainder (any amount over $25 million) to charities, friends and family. Even at just 2% ROR, $25 million would be $500,000 per year before taxes. Thats way more than Id ever need.

@tubofbologna once you win the lottery nobody is your friend other than your family, i hope you do realize that, everyone around you will see you as the millionaire before they see you as a human, you have to be careful with who's around you. but everything else i do agree with
Why is it that the old people always win the lottery?

If I won the lottery I would never go to a public press conference like that.
