@rainbowbeetle2001 are you saying you take info about how you care from your pets from random articles online that you dont know about and dont care about... You may want to rethink your strategy for caring for animals

@n2488 again with the english its like trying to decipher hieroglyphics (another long word you probably wont understand). Im not giving out names because i dont think they'll want random youtubers after them. How is it not logical for the mealworm thing they swallow them whole therefore they are not bitten in half and are still alive. I am not a sad conspiracy theorist that makes up strange rumours about chubby frog care. Who are you to decide a topics over. And your the one whos getting angry.
-
@AngryPugProductions i have heard from someone who calls themselves a expert who you don't name is not evidence
the mealworms are not dead after consumption no that is not at all logical
yes if u have an outlandish theory i will need an explanation furthermore i will need evidence
if u need me to disprove any more of your theory do reply but otherwise i am done on this topic as are many herpetologists but don't worry i am sure the angrier u get the more you will think you are correct
-
@AngryPugProductions most leading hematological magazines for example practical reptile keeper have talked about this issue and found it is bullshit
-
@AngryPugProductions no this doesn't happen i have kept various amphibians and never had a single issue with meal-worms this myth comes from frogs having died in there enclosure while meal worms are present in the enclosure main cause of death is usually mbd or improper care the meal worms then eat the dead body
the owner looks in sees frog dead then makes the assumption its the pet shops fault
-
@AngryPugProductions thats an old myth your telling me after being crushed during the swallowing process they then while in amphibian stomach acid which is very strong compared to most vertebrates it then chews the frog without the frog regurgitating it
-
@n2488 Evidence: Told by herpetologist, on countless websites and magazines
Logic: The mealworms are not dead and can nibble the frogs on the inside
Do you have to explain everything to you?
-
@AngryPugProductions haha year i know who herpetologists are whats there name where were they trained and what magazines and why shouldn't you feed meal-worms come on show some fucking evidence or reason or logic
-
@i was told by a trained herpetologist (knowing how stupid you are you probably dont know how to say it or what it means) and its in countless magazines and you should really try full stops or take english lessons. Thats a full stop at the end just in case you dont know what that means either
@angrypug and@n2488 - Wow! holy cow guys! Is it really that serious? I've been meal worms for the last 2 years now, no problems. Now he eats these giant mealworms that kind of freak me out. Watch other Chubby frog videos, you will see them eating all kinds of things. Also, regarding n2488's comment, I read the info about being captured in the wild and not raised on some article online. I have no evidence of this, and am not really concerned. It was just some interesing shit I saw online.
