1998 BMW 540i/6

Driveshaft makes a tinging noise on acceleration and deceleration. Either from center u-joint (which is not serviceable), or rear cv-joint, which can be changed.

EDIT: The noise went away after replacing a heavily worn center support bearing.

    I actually changed my center support bearing, since it was worn. I haven't heard any kind of noise from my drive since. I also re-greased the cv joint, so it could have been either.
