A beautiful dynamical fractal spiral

After watching the video clips by Ochimerical0 and drschnaggles on fractal spirals, I tried with my web camera by pointing the camera at the screen. The camera films itself at a slightly tilted angle. With an appropriate position, I got an amazing dynamical spiral instead of static one. By blocking the camera with my pen, the resulting dynamics of the spiral is so interesting and beautiful. Wonder if someone can explain it :-)
