It was impossible for the Axis to even attempt any invasion of Britain:
For example, The Axis due to logistics had nothing to invade with, The Axis navy was too small to go up against the Home-Fleet, Or defend any invasion Force.
The Luftwaffe, Record against Naval vessels was pathetic, They could not protect any invasion Force as Norway,Dunkirk,Battle of Britain shows.
BRITANNIA RULES THE WAVES, BRITONS SHALL NEVER BE SLAVES.
After Battle of Britain 1940, Hitler was begging for peace.

@pendejaje What an example... It took the US two years to join the war.
Canada and the UK were the backbone of WW2... No matter what any US propaganda history book says.

@WolfytheWolf5667 And then when the war turned westward they voluntarily gave up there land and gave the soviets back there POW.
The Fins did not want a new world order they did not want an ethnic clensing of the jews or Slavs
they just wanted to be left alone.
And so what is so wrong with that ?!
-
@WolfytheWolf5667 Infact when Barborosa started the finnish marched into the border territory they lost and stopped. Hitler demanded they march on Murmansk and Leningrad But they refused and they also refused to allow any other axis armies into there nation.
And they followed the Gevea convention treated there soviet prisoners of war humainly and fairly they did not take part in the clensing of Jews gays Gypses Slavs...

@WolfytheWolf5667 Acually I was talking about the Winter War. Infact they were a democratic nation pushed towards Germany because of the war ironically Germany had refused to send any and all aid during the winter war in acordance with the molotov-Ribbentrop pact.
They where not out land grabing or part of an ethnic clensing of the slavic people all they wanted was to reclaim there lost land thus why they where apart of the Axis but they did not sign the Tripartite Pact.
-
don't you mean, JOINING THE NAZIS?
Finland signed an alliance with Hitler. Thus, they're scum.

The whole idea of the Battle over Britain was a big misconcept on German side. Attacking Russia AND preparing an invasion of Britain while neither having large long range bombers, capable of providing serious self defence on their own..."protected" by fighters which could stay in the operation area for only a few minutes...
And then i.e. to attack radar antenna poles over and over again which resist blast like gras the wind and are substituted in under a week...and so on.Wrong aim - wrong means.

I wish that propagandist would shut his lying gob!

If only those old boys could see what a mess Britain is today..........

@hhagiz While at the same time brave finnish men and women where risking it all to protect there home land from the might of the Soviet war machine.
RIP and thank you for your kind comment
@Junkythegreat
Thats a bit of a myth. As long as the Royal Navy was around the Germans had no chance of invading the British Isles.
What the Battle of Britain did ensure however was day time aerial supremacy over Southern England, stopping the Germans having free reign to bomb British cities. If the Battle of Britain was lost, it would have meant the RAF was forced to withdraw North to recuperate, temporarily giving the Germans aerial supremacy. So it was crucial in that regard.
