Brittany Blake Forever featuring Ron Banks of the Dramatics 1993. NEW INFO POSTED BELOW. STUDIO DEMO only.

***Thank you for listening...I'm going to apologize for the poor sound quality...this was off of a cassette tape so when transferred the sound quality was not nearly as good.

*** I am really stunned that RB is no longer with us. It was an honor and a privilege to work with such a beautiful person. I was humbled by his presence and in awe of his talent. I remember hearing every note, every breath, what he was wearing and amazed at the way he held the headphones in his hand and hit those unforgettable notes. He had a presence about him that was undeniable and he was like a breath of fresh air that just vibed and flowed through the studio. I'll treasure the memories, as I feel like they were just yesterday, I have while we recorded this song...forever........

Not long after the Demo with Ron Banks was cut we went back into the studio and began working on Cheating Heart and Stop Sign for AEM Records ---Dance on the WildSide Volume 1.

George Clinton--- I met him at the studio right after we recorded Stop Sign. There he was the Atomic Dog himself...live.

While recording Stop Sign -written by Ron Dunbar, grammy award winner and wrote Band of Gold for Freda Payne, we had a moment in the song where I felt like some lyrics I had been working on so fit within this song. It was all a twist of fate that I got there to begin with and learned so much along the way. Here are the lyrics I wrote:

Turning my back not lookin around
hoping true love is what I found
cupid shot an arrow into my heart
and now you've torn it all apart
close to the fire
gettin' the burn
just a little lesson we all must learn
there's no more words left to say
your train has left
so be on your way....

Thank you to Dave Roberson (One Way), Ron Banks (Dramatics), Ron Dunbar, Scott, Carol (without you there would have never been a beginning) and of course, Charlie.

Blessings to you all.
