2006 Volvo V70 R snow fun

Practicing my Scandinavian flick, drifts, and other acts of vehicular nirvana in the snow.

My first experience in the snow with AWD. Previous cars were either front- or rear-wheel drive. I had to learn how it handles the white stuff. It seems to do pretty well. Same parking lot at night and the following morning. Perfect snow conditions: Thin layer of icy, snow covered by approx 1-1/2" of powder.

Tires are Bridgestone Blizzak WS60 size 215/50R17
