Using Facebook Zero as a proxy

A proof of concept video showing Facebook Zero being used as a proxy to see news from the BBC and to show information about Japan from Wikipedia.

If you had the time to develop an application to run on the cell phone itself then you could easily turn this into a fully functioning (slow) proxy. Allowing you to surf pretty much any website for free on your cell phone by funnelling it through 0.facebook.com
