The Matt Pop mix of Peter's brandnew single. Written by Mike Stock and Matt Aitken, produced by Dave Ford and Ian Curnow and featuring a banging retro-flavoured remix by none other than mister Mixmaster Pete Hammond himself - this remix package is a regular Stock, Aitken & Waterman feast! Ofcourse, the Matt Mix is pretty good, too. The radio edit is out now, the full club mix will be released as part of the second bundle, on November 7, 2011.
The Matt Pop Radio Edits of Stereo and Better Run Away appear here for the first time, too!

  • Well produced and performed, though I think M&M were scraping the creative barrel a bit on this track. Broken Man though is superb. Is there going to be a Matt Pop mix of that?

  • @stellarartwars07

Thank you. And yes, I absolutely loved Broken Man when I first heard it, another stellar job by Pete Hammond and ofcourse mr. Wilson himself, who wrote it. And there will indeed be a Matt Pop Club Mix for that.

I agree with you there. I will always buy the cd if there is one. And so many tracks and albums are released silently these days, some by big name artists, that don't seem to get any airplay at all.

  • with a booklet including who did, wrote, remixed wich & photos, reason why I hate downloading! But you named nowadays bigest problem:record companys releasing a cd but not promoting it neither the artist, having the album not released in all countries,no tv shows & such & then blaming the artist his cd didn't sell so no need to have another produced!let's go back to the PWL days,no idea if artists were respected but at least they were everywhere & sold a lot whatever the country

So sorry, my comment referred to the album Stereo, not to this single - that's my mistake. That 2-cd album features 23 tracks, luckily, there aren't 23 remixes of this track lol. As for there being 2 seperate remix singles for Twentyfour Seven: I understand what you're saying. How the singles are released is not really up to me but to the record company. I guess they want to give people a choice.

  • I know Matt,I wasn't that serious about it,just remembering the those good 12' having the extended version, radio, instrumental & dub 1,with a remix being released 3 monthes later to relaunch the hit in the charts & for real fans!Question we could ask ourself thaugh is;do we really need that many remixes, yours we for sure do but 23,isn't this just a bit much for 1 single, doesn't it rather mixed up everyone on what & wich to buy(1 or 2) and ending up having poeple buying none!

  • on 2cds:-( sorry Matt & Peter but this sucks;I'd rather pay more if needed & have all tracks on one, sorry

  • @lovedommen

You probably know already, but Phil Harding's book on his PWL years is a very enjoyable and interesting read, and features an extensive discography. He is also releasing a great 2-cd compilation of mixes this month with many rare and extended PWL tracks.

  • @cantforgetyou,thanx m8,thaugh I keep on searching,I obviously still miss lots of their songs, whatever the period:-( I subscribed every possible chanel here, baught all best off and possible antholy & still miss a lot, especially from the very early 90's years where P.Waterman released those good dance tracks;isn't there a full list somewhere i could read & check out to search for what i miss and want?I was hoping for Josh to release a PWL sounding album but:-( take care
